Blue Shark

This is something I started for the Blender Guru’s underwater contest, but I didn’t like my result, so I decided work a little bit more on this scene. The idea of this scene was create a blue shark in the middle of a fish shoal, in search for food.
I modeled the shark using a drawing I found on internet as reference, and a lot of images to try reproduce the underwater mood. For the ocean I create a plane and use displament with a procedural texture. The fish shoal was create using the particles system. And the compositing was made in Blender and a litte color correction in Photoshop.

After read the book of Burne Hogarth, Drawing The Human Head, I decided to create a face and tried put in pratice some things I learned with the book.

I started this model for the contest Blending Life 2, but I not like the result, so I decided make some studies and here it is! Made with Blender 2.54 and GIMP.

My Project of Graduation in Visual Design

Last week finally it’s over the college! Now i’m graduated in visual design, one more step finished. So, this post it’s about my project, a animation for one association of protection to animals called AGPA. I worked about four months to finish the animation and half of the project, because the other half, the first part of project, was finished one semester before. I created everything in the video from scratch, only the rig, that was my friend André who created for me. The brand and the site of association was design by the company A2MR.
I really liked do this, although I’m not a animator, this my second experience with character animation, the first time was with the biped in 3ds max, that left me traumatized. Now with Blender was fun to animate!

I just say a BIG thanks to André Souza, for help me with the rig and animations.
I also want to thank the dear girls of A2MR.

Wendy

Hi, this my last work, Wendy. I made this work for pratice my organic modeling, trying to make a nice face. My primary objetive in this job was to learn the hair particle system and make a good hair. I modeled the head in Blender, the textures and maps i made in GIMP, the textures of the head have 2048 px and the eyes have 1024 px. The render and the compositon were made in Blender too, i used Blender internal renderer with ambient occlusion approximate. I hope you like. One more work and i will make a small demoreel, if i have time to do.

Hi everyone! This my second post and my first Blender work here. After migrate for Blender, my life in 3D change for a much more easy, to learn and make better works, thank you very much Blender Foundation!

I done this medieval sword for fun and for make a timelapse modeling video. This work was made entirely in Blender, modeling, rendering and composition, only the textures was done in GIMP.

Olá, este é meu primeiro blog, resolvi fazer ele para postar meus trabalhos de um modo mais organizado, fazer videos mostrando como trabalho e talvez alguns tutoriais. Bom, este é meu primeiro post e foi meu primeiro projeto, decidi modelar o guitarrista do Rage Against the Machine, que também é guitarrista do Audioslave, e todo o equipamento que ele utiliza, o nome do guitarrista é Tom Morello. Eu tive alguns problemas, tive que refazer muitas coisas, mas aprendi muitas coisas também. Enfim, ai está o resultado final.

Softwares: 3ds Max, Zbrush, Photoshop, Metal Ray.
